Terence Fitzgerald PhD, M.Ed., MSW
 
Terence Fitzgerald, Ph.D., M.Ed., M.S.W., co-founder of Compassionate Edge Consulting, is a mental health and education expert and scholar rooted in justice and equity. He is passionate about improving the social and emotional wellbeing of all populations.
His expertise lies within education and mental health policies and programming, racialized and gender trauma, climate and policy evaluation, cultural humility, family and children, and social and institutional inequality. He has dedicated his life to justice through academia, grassroots organizations, government entities, and consulting domains.
Dr. Fitzgerald has practiced as a K-12 school social worker and quasi-special education administrator for almost 18 years. He was later a clinical associate professor at the Suzanne Dworak-Peck School of Social Work at the University of Southern California.

Julie Schillim PhD LLP LPC
 
Julie Schillim, Ph.D., LLP, LPC, is an organizational and counseling psychologist dedicated to advancing wellbeing in the helping professions. She is passionate about strengthening the resilience of leaders, teams, and systems while reducing burnout and fostering sustainable cultures of care.
Her expertise spans leadership development, team building, trauma-informed systems design, equity-focused strategies, workforce wellbeing, and organizational change frameworks. With more than two decades of experience, she has guided leaders, clinicians, and organizations across for-profit, behavioral health, education, and public health sectors, applying evidence-based approaches that drive meaningful and lasting change.
Dr. Schillim has served as a clinician, supervisor, trainer, and consultant, blending her background in direct practice with her expertise in organizational psychology. She is the co-founder of Compassionate Edge Consulting, where she partners with organizations to create innovative solutions that align wellbeing with performance and mission.
Her work and thought leadership draw upon her experience with academic institutions, initiatives, public health agencies, and work with national organizations, including roles such as Lead Consultant at the National Council for Mental Wellbeing. She is committed to shaping healthier workplaces and communities through research-informed practice, engaging training, and collaborative consulting.
